How Minnesota Virtual High School Works
The Minnesota Virtual High School™ (MVHS) program allows students to access their courses from the comfort of their own home. Because our courses are 100% online, you will experience a flexibility that the traditional, structured classroom environment cannot offer. So how does it work?
No Cost Program
MVHS is a no cost program offered by Minnesota Transitions Charter School. Since this is a public program, the same funding used for traditional students can be used for online students; therefore there is no fee for taking online courses for most students.
Everything is Online
It works just like a traditional high school, except everything is online. You can login and access your courses from home, the public library, or anywhere there is a computer and Internet access.
Teacher-Supported Learning
You'll have access to one-on-one instruction from Minnesota-certified teachers 24/5 (Sunday 10pm – Friday 8pm) and 24/7 help from our support staff. Teachers communicate with you through phone, email, and instant messaging. Our teachers even have a virtual online whiteboard to visually explain concepts to you.
