About the Program
New World Online Charter is a program of New World Educational Center in Phoenix, Arizona. NWOC is designed to utilize an online curriculum that allows students to work at their own pace, receive individualized support from Arizona-Certified teachers, as well as additional support on campus, on an as-needed basis. As this is a Public High School, students receive this quality education at no cost.Caring, Certified Teachers
Students have 24/5 (Sunday evening through Friday evening) access to their online teachers. Teachers are Highly-Qualified, Arizona-Certified teachers. All teachers have experience both in the classroom setting and online instruction. Their goal is to provide you with the tools, resources, and knowledge to be successful in your courses so that you can graduate and move on to career or college. Your teachers are available via phone, email, and live chat anytime, day or night, Sunday through Friday.
High-Quality Courses
New World Online Charter offers a comprehensive curriculum including courses in all Core-Content areas (i.e. English, Math, Science, Social Studies,), Foreign Languages, Fine Arts, numerous Electives, as well as College-Prep and Advanced Placement courses. Flexible Access
Students will complete all their courses online, with additional tutoring as needed on campus, giving them the flexibility to work, take care of family or just pursue interests outside of school. Students can work on their courses anytime, day or night 24/7 anywhere there is an internet connection, like home, the library or a coffee-shop. Students are required to work in their courses 25 hours a week to meet state requirements. Student may also check out laptops if they do not have access to a home computer, and/or receive internet allowances if families are not able to provide on their own, per school policy.

A student should never feel "stuck," thanks to our full-range support team, which includes Arizona-Certified teachers, Student Achievement Coordinators, teaching assistants, Administrative staff and 24/7 technical support. Parents are able to immediately access their student's progress in each course to ensure their child is remaining on-track and progressing successfully. Furthermore, parents are able to contact teachers, 24/7 support, as well as the Student Achievement Coordinator assigned to your student.
