Flexible Access

Students may choose from one of two sessions (morning or afternoon) giving them the flexibility to work, take care of family or just pursue interests outside of school. Students can work on their courses after or before school anywhere there is an internet connection, like home, the library or a coffee-shop. Student may also check out laptops if they do not have a home computer for use outside of school.

Around-the-Clock Support

A student should never feel "stuck," thanks to our full-range support team, which includes Certified teachers, teaching assistants, Administrative staff and 24/7 technical support. Parents are able to immediately access their student's progress in each course to ensure their child is remaining on-track and progressing successfully. Furthermore, parents are able to contact teachers and 24/7 technology support as well.

State-of-the-Art Learning Centers

Pivot Charter School is a unique program merging the best of state-of-the-art Learning Centers, individualized instruction and tutoring by Florida Certified teachers, and innovative online curriculum to provide students and parents an outstanding educational experience. Students and parents will also work closely with an "Advising Teacher" to ensure the students are making positive progress and communicate with parents regarding this progress.

Caring, Certified Educational Coordinators

Students will work daily with both online and site-based Florida certified teachers. Site-based teachers provide oversight of each student's entire educational program, including choosing the correct courses, tracking their progress, and ensuring they are receiving all services they need to be successful. Online teachers are available 24/5 (Sunday evening through Friday evening) which allows students to work on their courses before or after their school day as well. Students will be surrounded by Florida-certified teachers who are truly invested in their success at school, paving the way for their future success.

Daily Expectations

Students will work in their coursework on-site at one of the state-of-the-art Learning Centers for four to five hours per day, receiving assistance and instruction from both the online and on-site teachers. Students may also engage in small-group instruction, one-on-one tutoring, or other activities during their time at school.
