User System requirements
Advanced Academics’ online curriculum provides a rich, interactive experience for students. The curriculum does not utilize local hard-disk storage, so online students are free to do their course work on any number of different computers that meet the basic requirements. In order for students to get the most out of the online learning experience, we ask that the computer being used for learning meet the following technical requirements:

- Apple® MAC OS 9.0 or newer, MAC OS X v. 10.1 or newer
- Windows-compatible PC with an equivalent of 233 MHz Intel® Pentium® processor
- Apple Macintosh with 180 MHz PowerPC® 604e processor or higher
- 128MB of RAM
- Super VGA (800 x 600) or higher-resolution monitor with 256 colors
- 16-bit audio adapter and speakers
- Internet Connection (DSL, Cable, or High Speed Recommended)
- 56 kbps dialup, DSL, cable modem or faster Internet access
- Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.5 or newer
- Firefox and other Mozilla-based browsers
